“It’s now exactly 3 months to the day since Missy had her TPLO operation performed by Ram of VET 24!
Thanks to Ram’s skill and subsequent Physio Rehabilitation by yourself and Rebecca, Missy has made an excellent recovery and has full and confident use use of her right rear leg!!
We would just like to thank you both for the excellent treatment that you administered to begin her journey of recovery, we are so pleased at the outcome, when visiting your veterinary surgery there was always a nice calming feel to it which is so reassuring when you are so concerned about the well being of your pet. The aftercare advice that you gave after each visit regarding follow up exercise regime was second to none!!
Again a big “THANK YOU” to you both
Kind Regards
Jim & Yvonne”
“Just wanted to say a big thank you to Yoko and staff for helping me get Tess my 4 year old Blue heeler from being paralyzed in her four legs to walking like normal in 7 weeks.
They were able to teach me and Tess to cope with everyday things like toileting, getting her to roll over at night so l didn’t have to roll her every 2 hours and pain management. Tess loved going to see everyone at the centre and was more motivated and happier when she had been for her rehab. Thank you team Kelmscott for all of the help and support you have given not only Tess but myself as well. xx Sue “
“Over the past few years, the field of veterinary rehabilitation has become one of the fastest growth areas in our industry. Increasing awareness of the importance of appropriate rehabilitation in our patients, following injury, illness or due to reducing mobility with age, is one of the key driving influences in this growth. With an increasing understanding of the role of the rehabilitation practitioner in managing patients, the importance of therapeutic exercise and manual therapies is being investigated and incorporated into patient management. In addition the rehabilitation practitioner has an increasing array of therapeutic modalities at their disposal that help in managing pain and improving function. I encourage all veterinarians to engage with a good rehab facility or get certified/trained themselves.”

“My dog Stiffy was diagnosed with Lumbosacral issues in late 2017, after months of medications and revisits with my regular vet I was referred to Veterinary Rehabilitation Services. I found Dr Yoko Clinch to be very thorough, gentle and professional, Dr Clinch was able to diagnose/pick up areas of lameness and pain that other vets had not previously diagnosed.
We started weekly laser therapy on his back coupled with a range of stretches and exercises to do at home, it wasn’t long before we started to see a change in his comfort and demeanor. Stiffy is now back to his normal self and enjoying life.
I cant thank the team at Veterinary Rehabilitation Services enough, thank you for giving our fur baby a new lease on life.”
” We have a blue healer Beagle cross that is almost 13 years old.
He is our third child and we are highly committed to his care and who treats him. His name is Sergie and he has had a few health issues that would have led to a shortened life span had we not determined to make every effort as we would for one of our 2 legged children. We are very focussed on a wholistic approach to his care.
When Sergie presented with some postural issues we were referred to Dr Yoko for some physio treatment.
Sceptical of canine physiotherapy, we received this recommendation from our vet however decided to make the trek to Roleystone.
Upon arriving you will find that all the Roleystone hospital vet staff are trained in low stress handling and that was obvious in both the care and attention but also reflected in my dog’s own behaviour.
From the very first phone call, staff at this vet clinic made every effort to make us feel welcome but more importantly to handle Sergie with love and care. We were allowed an appointment where there would be minimal contact with other animals (Sergie was attacked many times as a puppy on walks and now is nervous around other dogs). We were encouraged to call and see how he was going during the day. This is comforting for parents who are stressed about their four legged child being stressed.
After the initial consult we were given a set of exercises to do with Sergie. Sergie at first thought this was just plain weird but continued to ‘play’ the game as there were treats involved. But more to the point his spine began to loosen, and his mobility improved. He began to bounce around puppy like again and smiled his mischievous happy smile.
We continued with the exercises and noted a significant postural improvement with Sergie and his ability to move, specifically jump in and out of the car.
Probably one of the best decisions was to come to this vet clinic. All the staff that we have met are lovely and customer focussed. The passion and care for what they do is evident.
We found Dr Yoko calming and very understanding of Sergies ‘nervous’ issues and very patient and thorough with his treatment plan and healing. We were made to feel that the consults were inclusive of us as ‘parents’. Treatment plans were always well laid out and easy to follow.
Sergie is doing very well in terms of his postural issues and we have every confidence in Dr Yoko and the very professional and compassionate approach she has to our pet.
Thankyou so much Dr Yoko and the vet nurses who helped in Sergie’s care. We are very grateful. A special mention to Bec and Rebecca for helping with Sergie on the last visit we attended – you are both wonderful.”
“If your dog or cat is having mobility issues, there’s no-one better to see in Perth than Dr Yoko and Rebecca. They worked wonders on our dog Daisy and we saw results after the first few sessions. She’s now much more comfortable – and mobile. Thanks so much!”
“I’ve been privileged to have worked with Dr Yoko over many years. Her love and care for her patients, thirst for knowledge, commitment to best practice, attention to detail and unwavering focus mean that your furbaby is in excellent and very skilled hands, ensuring the best possible rehab outcome. Dr Yoko is one of a handful of vets in Australia with this internationally recognised qualification and the pets of Perth are lucky to have her.
Dr Yoko is balanced by the kind and dedicated vet nurse Rebecca, who also constantly strives for new knowledge – both in rehab therapies but also low stress and fear free handling, so that your furbaby can have a relaxing and rewarding experience.” Dr T Jacobs
